What is weDEAL?

weDEAL is an implementation of the Dutch online payment method iDEAL. By using weDEAL you can connect your business to Dutch customers. At the moment 60% of the payments in the Dutch territory are made with iDEAL. In the nearby future a solution based on the iDEAL-technology will be available throughout Europe.

weDEAL offers an iDEAL-implementation with the lowest cost. How is that possible? Simple: by economy of scale. By using weDEAL, all payments of your customers are collected on a special escrow account, where the amount of all our merchants stays a few days. The generated interest is used to pay the cost of all transactions. The used account is administered by the Dutch government and therefore managed by an external party not directly connected to us.

How it works?

If your customer has payed, the payment state "succes' is send to you real time. Only the real payout to you is delayed. After a 'payment succes" callback you can directly send the goods.

We proces payouts every workday. That means that when we start the first 5 or 10 days there are no daily payments, and day 6 is the payout of day 1 and so further. We send you an email with the batch ID and a csv-file with all  transactions of that day. A batch payout cost € 1 per day. No transactions, no costs.

- Ogone. This is an external checkout connecting to weDEAL. Additional costs are charged by Ogone
- weDEAL plus. Our own free of charge checkout.
